The Time Has Come

I think we know what’s going on. We are living the signs of the times. If we see it for what it is, and have been made right with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and are living surrendered to the Holy Spirit, we will know where we stand, as the days commence with the purposes they contain. Please see the Scripture Reference at the end.

Nowhere to run –

that which must be has begun,

tares from wheat,

bitter from sweet,

chaff from grain,

sound of mind from all insane,

dross from gold,

It shall unfold –

wickedness from all that’s good,

stripped away like bark from wood,

dark from light, left from right , manifest,

north from south and east from west,

what is cursed from what is blessed.

Murky gray begone from day!

You shall see – so it must be.

Lukewarm from hot, lukewarm from cold;

that long hidden must unfold,

coward false from true and bold

So it has been long foretold.

Don’t you know? Nowhere to go.

Memorializing The Noble Cause

Prefacing remarks: I proceed with a heavy heart and mixed feelings, but every time there’s a military holiday, this message or one similar to it rises to the surface. This post isn’t a particularly “religious” one, but that aspect of things plays into the narrative. There’s a back story to history that every person owes it to himself and those he loves to grasp. It has to do with a hidden cast of characters acting as managers of the stage of this little world…

What I have to say at the outset by no means is meant to disparage any veteran. Every one of us (yes, I’m a Veteran, USAF, Viet Nam Era) had a way of perceiving “the noble cause” the way it’s been presented to us – as “fighting for ‘our’ freedoms”. We were all rallied to the support of “the noble cause”, if indeed some of us weren’t drafted against our will – or were even dumb enough to think that being “chosen” to be a drafted sacrifice was a good thing.

OK, first off, let’s get our military holidays straight. (Or maybe it’s not politically correct to use the word “straight” anymore in this context?)

Memorial Day (end of May on whichever day will provide people – especially legislators – with a paid day off as well as a long weekend) commemorates military personnel (currently known as “human resources” in all “corporate military complex” settings) who have become sacrifices (as in died) for “the noble cause” (whatever the cause actually is, which remains nebulous once you understand how things actually work here on Earth).

Veterans’ Day (November 11) is for Veterans still alive after their time in the military is finished, as well as those who no longer inhabit a body, or those who died in line of duty. It’s a catch all day of “remembering” persons who have been in the military.

Ever notice how much conflict and death are celebrated on Planet Earth? Does anybody ever question the assumption about the “nobility” of the cause for which people sign up to… die? Take a stroll through any park, and you will see one military monument or memorial after another. Do you ever wonder why LIFE cannot be celebrated with equal if not greater gusto?

Tell me once more WHOSE freedom our young people serve, fight, and die for? Is is really the freedom of the American people, or is it the freedom of globalist elites, bankers, corporations, and their minions to make money doing business and politicking as usual? … Or something even more nebulous which they report to?

Step back a moment. Ask the hard questions. Dare to challenge your perception of narrative. Actually observe what goes on beneath the surface of what the side show mainstream media, Hollywood talking heads, and “authority figures” tell you that you should see. They have woven a narrative that is best spelled illusion.

Unsettling? Yes. But truth ultimately afflicts the comfortable as much, if not more, than it comforts the afflicted. And that’s as it should be. We have to question everything, including ideas we’ve all been taught to blindly uphold. And it is time for the really comfortable who have gleaned the advantage through the enslavement of Humankind to become very afflicted. It is time for them to reap the harvest of all they have sown for generations, if not millennia. And quite honestly, I think they know it, so they’re running scared because the day of their accounting has arrived. So they’re ramping up their agenda.

Don’t take this wrong. I’m not another “Hanoi Jane”. I love my country and would still come to its defense – if I was convinced that’s what I was actually doing instead of playing international police force. But the question to ask is, what is our military (or any other military for that matter) used for?

Fifteen years (this go round) of endless war started by the “Bush League” has been perpetuated by the Obama administration. They just pass the baton, one party to the next. They create the “problem” to rally the troops and watch the public reaction, then provide the solution. The solution is always another war, bypassing congressional approval and funded by tax dollars which were also not approved by those who foot the bill. At the end of the day, it costs John Q. Public dearly, in terms of our wealth (taxation!) and the shedding of our dearest blood. And all it does is feed the greed of the wealthiest world bankers and their cronies and bloodlines.

Does that sound like “defending our freedoms” to you?

Just as these young men and women are about to take their places on the stage of life, something called “military duty” comes along and supplants and suppresses it, dramatically changing the dynamic of their directions and dreams, all too often to the point of death.

And now “they” are talking about re-instituting the draft, to also include our beautiful daughters whose loving hand is intended to rule the world as it once did by rocking the cradle. This is a travesty and an affront and an insult to the dignity and beauty of our daughters! For a woman’s strongest motivation is nurture, not to have a gun put in her hand to become a murderer! This is yet another move at dishonoring young women, and all young women need to comprehend this for what it really is, instead of buying into feminist bravo sierra rhetoric!

But we keep buying into the hype. And when some of us question “the noble cause” of fighting for God and country – because we are convinced that 1) God doesn’t need to be defended with ammo and tech, and 2) that it may not after all be our country’s freedom we’re fighting for, but some other hidden, nefarious agenda entirely – we are shunned as cowards, traitors, and “conspiracy theorists”. Because we resist the general acquiescence to the idea of “playing nice” and going along with “this is how we’ve always done it”, without stopping to think about the fact that we’re surrendering our finest and most promising to the foolery of a cult of death, demanding covert Human sacrifice under the guise of “the noble cause” of “defending our freedoms”!

So be it, if you don’t want to look at things as they are. But know this: this writer is not among those who claim to be “pro life” but then defends war. Both abortion and war are assaults on the children of humanity, and should be banned as murderous. If you are pro life, you should speak out against war! It is time that Humanity put away its swords and beat them into plowshares. Yet the powers that be understand that if you can get a society to acquiesce to the murder of innocents in the form of abortion, it should be no problem to get them to go to war to murder their peers.

Humanity would undoubtedly do this, since we’ve been set up as cannon fodder for elite interests and bear the brunt of the burden, in terms of suspension of life and liberty, if the majority could understand what they’re really fighting and sacrificing for!

I can see having a standing and ready army to defend our nation internally, with strong boundaries, and our Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, but we should refuse to participate in this folly of war for the sake of the interests of multi national banks and corporations, or foreign interests of any sort.

Why else do so many Veterans come home as Human wreckage? They began to understand what “you’re in the army now” really means, signed on the dotted line, sworn an oath, and could not quit their “job” without being labelled deserters and traitors! The oath meant one thing to them, but quite another to those to whom they swore it! But that doesn’t hit home until that aha moment when you scream, “What the hell am I doing here?!” And then when they come home from defending “the noble cause of ‘our’ freedom”, the government they served will not even keep its part of the bargain and take care of their health needs! That is the kind of trash we’ve allowed to take over our United States of America.

No wonder the rest of the nations of the world hate us. They can see right through what American stooges for some reason cannot comprehend, and they laugh at the buffoonery of our so called leaders, in a two-party system which in truth serves one agenda and one set of overlords through cunning and coercion. (Story for another day.)

I hope this will make you, dear reader, at least start to question the narrative. Yes, it may make you feel a little crazy at first. But once that clears, one discovers that one prefers a “No Bull Cause” to “the noble cause” any day.

What Will You Be Wearing?

“… put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” (Ephesians 4:24)

“I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” (Isaiah 61:10)

Happy Reformation Day!!! … That is my greeting. No tricks. No treating.

Are you dressing up for this “holiday”? It is better called a Pagan observance, not any sort of holiday – because that word implies “holy day”. It is anything but that. What will you put on? Or will it be just a put on? Better be careful – it may become difficult to get out of character if you take the role too seriously.

Personally, it was difficult to watch this afternoon: moms leaving the public school across the street – clad in black, dressed like witches, body language in a lot of cases indicating they were enjoying embodying the dark side far too much. (Was this party at the school for the kids or for them?) Few in any other costumes.

More and more each year this observance moves toward the dark side. And therein lies its subtlety. What was once just a day for wearing costumes such as butterflies, ballerinas, and bunnies has now become an excuse to give in “just a little” to the allurement of appearing witchy. For Christians this ought to be a no brainer, as the directive is “Abstain from all appearance of evil.” (1 Thessalonians 5:22) Yes, that one is “controversial”. It seems that wherever the Scripture is clear on something, there are those who’d like to wiggle out of the conviction the Holy Spirit puts on them about it and twist its meaning, or water it down. Certainly “appearing” as the representative of evil, in order to celebrate its prime holiday, is more than to flirt with it.

If you have an “outpost” like mine (a desk by the picture window across from a public school) from where one observes many things, and you’re taking note of the “trends”, that is what is seen at Halloween. Often people used to dress as angels. Now they’re dressing as angels of deception. And loving it. And if you deck out your little ones that way, it frankly borders on child abuse!

Our tax dollars now allow for the observance of witchcraft and its holidays in public schools, but children are not allowed to pray Christian prayers, or to read the Bible. Where’s the religious equality in that? Next up will be an introduction into Islam – coming soon to an indoctrination center near you.

I wonder – if people knew of the real forces behind these ancient Pagan observances, what the practices were, and had just enough of a bump with the actual presence of evil – in a clear and unmistakeable way, whether they would still think it’s all fun and games to celebrate Halloween?

Apparently, considering all the Christians who involve themselves in all the Halloween hype, hoopla, and hanky-panky, we could use yet another Reformation Day and movement. If anything, at the very least, may all who love the Lord and understand His holy purposes ponder that as the alternative to the world’s engagement with this dark observance.

So, You Want To Feel Better…

No, I’m not Catholic, but the Prayer of St. Francis is well worth meditating on each day for anyone – This is how things really work. Instead of looking to others to make you feel better, be that to another! If you don’t like hearing it from a Christian perspective, then Gandhi said it like this (or so he is quoted) “Be the change that you want to see.” It’s essential perennial Wisdom. It’s “Metaphysics 101”.

The universe operates on a system of sowing and reaping, the opposite of what’s promoted in the cult of self. No seeds, no harvest. Doesn’t matter how much “energy” you throw at it, or thought, or force-effort you give it. No seeds, no harvest – that simple.

So here’s Francis’ prayer. Try it on for size if you dare.

“Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

where there is sadness, joy.

O, Divine Master,

grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

to be understood as to understand;

to be loved as to love;

For it is in giving that we receive;

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.”

Jesus even challenges us to stretch to its radical end – “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. (Matthew 5:43-48 KJV)

God (“Daddy”, the Father of our spirit, our innermost being) is perfect Love. This is what His Love looks like – the outflow of perpetual grace toward all. This Love gives and puts forth and never looks to its own ways to be satisfied. It forgets that it even has or is a “self”!

No, I’m sure not perfect at that, but the key is awareness of our lack (our spiritual poverty), and then perpetually asking, seeking, and knocking (so as to be filled with the Holy Spirit) that more and more I will look like Daddy, and then – like my Elder Brother Christ Jesus – when they see me, they will see the Father, with the goal in mind “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ“. (Ephesians 4:13 KJV)

Just me, preachin’ to the choir…

If you want to reap, you have to sow.

Praise And Prayer

It’s been awhile since I posted anything. Has anyone else noticed the strong opposition coming at whatever the Lord has called you to do? The spiritual warfare is intense these days! Could it be because the time is short, and the “occupying forces” have received their final eviction notice?

However, of late there has been something of a breakthrough – the first in a long while, since my last post. It had to do not only with the contents of this message, yet also perhaps a new and renewed wave of intercessory ministry involving praise and prayer, with a strong emphasis on praise.

At the very least it is a reminder that the follower of Jesus Christ must be personally attune to the same mission of which He partook and still does. Or do we forget that this is a spiritual war zone? But dare we ask specifically what that may imply for us?

Can I say with Jesus the Christ that I must be about my Father’s business?

Do I truly understand that my kingdom is not of this world?

Am I one with Him and the reason He was manifested – to destroy the works of the devil? Have I prayed about what the implications of that are for me and my life? Do I actually want to know?

Do I understand what it means, if I have put on the Mind (attitude) of Christ, that “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”?

Am I seeing with the eyes of Jesus, in full agreement with His view, as He says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise”?

Do I truly affirm and embrace Jesus’ promise, “Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come”?

Is it a living, vibrant experiential reality that, “… the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you”?

What I was hearing, specifically, personally, and inwardly over the last several days went something like this:

Be about the business of praise! There is no time to analyze, to theorize, to diagnose, or to prescribe. There is no time to plan. Just be about the business of praise in any and every circumstance. Call down the Presence of God and angelic majesties through praise! It may be sung, spoken, or silent – but devote yourself to the work!

Stop living by the world’s modus operandi while still referring to yourself as the body of Christ. Instead be the body of Christ. The weapons of your warfare are not carnal but mighty through God for the purpose of tearing down the adversarial strongholds.

Be the holy temple of the Holy Spirit, and the house of prayer that I call upon you to be – wherein is carried out the work of praise. Then, in so many ways, the Earth will shake, the shackles will fall off, and the prison doors will open.

Let there be devotion to praise in all the Earth, whether alone or gathered together with others.

Hearken to My Spirit alone and what you will hear Me speak to you within the stillness of your interior devotion. Yet this can only happen when My people who are called by My Name humble themselves, pray with the intention of listening, seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways – relinquishing them in favor of what you will hear of the Still Small Voice. For therein is the power whereby the Earth and its people will be set free and transformed. Do your part. My yoke is not burdensome.

Whoever is called to the work of praise, embrace it with your whole heart and without ceasing.

Scriptures given for encouragement in the ministry of praise:

“But Thou art holy, O Thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Our Fathers trusted in Thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.” (Psalm 22:3,4.)

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.” (Acts 16:25,26)

“Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” (Philippians 4:9)

“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ephesians 5:15-20)

“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises in their darkest midnight hour. What is the Lord showing you that you need to do with yours?

Am I Dead Yet?

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” (2 Corinthians 13:5)

True or false? Without all the tools we have today – especially online Bibles, reference materials, commentaries, many books, and generally easy access to so many resources instantaneously – honest Christian self examination was a more difficult thing for people in the early church, as they had no such luxuries.

This likely may not be all that easy to discern. The disadvantage today is that we can take all of these tools for granted, with the entire matter of our spiritual life becoming merely a theological head trip. It can be easy to walk away from a living relationship with Jesus Christ, and fool ourselves with an intellectual approach as a substitute. Dare we say, in terms of our technological advantages, that to whom much is given much is required?

The Apostle Paul minces no words when it comes to the need to “prove” ourselves. More easy going translations replace the word “prove” with “test”, and the word “reprobate” with the phrase unless you “fail to meet the test”. Somehow that doesn’t pack the wallop that is contained in the good old KJV! It’s too soft, with so much at stake in this world’s apocalyptic time!

In the beginnings of the church, there was no Bible as we know it today, let alone all these versions and translations which have come down through the centuries. How even that made it through the politics of the church-state under Constantine is a marvel.

So what were the “yardsticks” against which the early believer might measure and monitor his spiritual state? Is it really any different for 21st Century Christians?

What Paul seems to emphasize throughout his epistles to these early believers is the cross and what it implies for the life of those who would follow Jesus. Repeatedly in many ways he emphasizes the co-death, burial, resurrection, and our position in Christ in the heavenly places, and what this implies for any who name the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then there is also the companionship and infilling with the Holy Spirit as we are converted, transformed, and restored into living manifestations of the sons of God.

“I no longer live!” is the declaration, but “Christ lives in me!” What does that mean?

People are quick to point out, especially these days when traditional morality is regarded by many as politically incorrect, that Jesus did not bring a moral code to the table. Perhaps not directly. However, the transformation He offers through the Cross implies something far more powerful and everlasting – we are made the righteousness of God in Him! That is the faith we live out. It is essentially this: I am dead. Christ lives in and through me.

Therefore a good beginning question for self examination in light of this might be, “Am I dead yet?” The lights are on, so who is home?

We are reckoned dead by the Grace of God through Christ’s passion and resurrection. Self, from which sin arises, is gone! That is to be our faith and our experience. The source of sin was done away with at the Cross. We are new creations!

But, do I live as if this is a fact? Am I dead yet? Is the risen Jesus Christ living in me with no contenders to the throne of my heart and mind? If I am a new creation in Him, then so it is. To them that believe on His name He gives the power to become the sons of God! Does it get any better than that? Does He shine in and through me? Have I surrendered to His Holy Spirit’s direction so that I am about my Father’s business as He was?

These are all questions that we take into the prayer closet with our Lord for self examination. The opinions of men, books, commentaries, and electronic resources are not going to provide the answer. Only a continual one on one with Jesus, as He speaks to our heart while we listen, is going to provided the answer to “Am I dead yet?”. Pray without ceasing, He says! That one on one is as available to us as it was to the illiterate yet saintly Christian in the early church. It may be that we have to toss out the extraneous clutter which gets in the way.

We can declare our mental faith day in and day out, but God doesn’t ask for declarations; He asks for powerful truth-manifesting demonstrations in real time-space. He wishes to make His presence known here and now within us. He isn’t asking for the works of the dead self which we may be inclined to offer, which can come in the form of a lot of head knowledge. He looks for the real time demonstration of the life of His Son in us, shining forth into a very dark world, where Jesus needs to be more real in His people than ever before.

Watch And Pray, Lest You Be Hacked

I’ve been losing track of friends lately whose accounts have been closed on Facebook. I don’t know whether some accounts were hacked, or shut down, or if persons simply bowed out. Others are complaining of being hacked on Facebook, and are threatening to shut down their own accounts. Social networking has become a rather unsocial space. Personally I experienced such a hacking attempt recently, but it was caught via email, interestingly enough. Let’s say, there are some links that you shouldn’t open. If you have an inner “red flag” about it, then you should heed it.

This is a 21st century form of forced “boundary crashing”. It could be called “cyber-trespassing”. Trespassing goes back a long way to the first wave of the Watchers’ incursion, of which Enoch writes – the Fall of angels that precipitated our Fall.

Maybe that’s why we pray “forgive us out trespasses”? Something to contemplate.

Hacking depicts to me a spiritual lesson:

Be sure, there is an “invasive presence” afoot on this earth which knows its time of occupation here is drawing to a close. The “eviction notice” was given on a bloody hill called Calvary over 2000 years ago. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ made it so, as He ransomed us with His blood from sin, death, and the power of the devil.

The unfoldment of this eviction notice characterizes the last two millennia of history. It is a reflection of that eviction notice to these forces, which must happen in each and every one of us, so that we may be restored to our Home and our inheritance as the sons of God in Light. This is a very real matter that is meant to flesh itself out in our life through the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s not pretend. It’s not “religion”. It is implied in a vibrant and ongoing relationship of complete surrender to the Work and teachings of Jesus Christ and to the Holy Spirit, in order to bring us through to the finish – among those who are called to it and who hear His Voice, the Voice of the Good Shepherd seeking out the lost and entangled in this world system.

Let us therefore humbly watch and pray, surrendering ourselves without compromise to God Who is our Father and Who is infinite Love, so that our very beings are not further “hacked” by our formidable adversary, “God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith…” (From 1 Peter 5) It’s clear his target for spiritual hacking are the ones who are “the resistance”, yet not by carnal warfare, but by the Way of Jesus Christ – mighty through God to the tearing down of strongholds.

This is the quintessential “hacker” of Souls who waits like a hungry lion!

As Jesus said to His sleeping disciples at that very darkest hour, “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation…” Lest you be “hacked” spiritually by that which is always looking for chinks in the armor. Prayer without ceasing is the way through – unbroken fellowship with the Holy Spirit, not just talking but listening.
