The Time Has Come

I think we know what’s going on. We are living the signs of the times. If we see it for what it is, and have been made right with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and are living surrendered to the Holy Spirit, we will know where we stand, as the days commence with the purposes they contain. Please see the Scripture Reference at the end.

Nowhere to run –

that which must be has begun,

tares from wheat,

bitter from sweet,

chaff from grain,

sound of mind from all insane,

dross from gold,

It shall unfold –

wickedness from all that’s good,

stripped away like bark from wood,

dark from light, left from right , manifest,

north from south and east from west,

what is cursed from what is blessed.

Murky gray begone from day!

You shall see – so it must be.

Lukewarm from hot, lukewarm from cold;

that long hidden must unfold,

coward false from true and bold

So it has been long foretold.

Don’t you know? Nowhere to go.

November Night

“He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters;

He makes the clouds His chariot; He walks upon the wings of the wind;

He makes the winds His messengers, Flaming fire His ministers.

He established the earth upon its foundations,

So that it will not totter forever and ever.”

Psalm 104:3-5

Sometimes the voyage overtakes us,
casting us beyond our will
upon a far away and unknown shore,
where we find upon arriving,
it is a pleasant place and more.
Yet all too soon arrives a day
when we must, with the winds and tides,
once more cast off and sail away.
Many the twists and turns of life
along this labyrinthine flow,
where we would yearn to fly,
yet Something Deeper whispers to our heart,
You shall not go, you shall not go.
For there is much more here
you’re meant to see, to understand, to know.

Unfettered 1

Unfettered One

Made in our Creator-Father’s image and likeness,

we are given the ability to imagine, to vision,

especially to vision as one Mind with the Holy Spirit.

If there ever were a time when our world

needed imagination and vision,

it is now.

Is it only me, or does anyone else sense that

we have long enough been caged?

It is time to soar,

to not allow ourselves any longer

to be talked out of

the birthright of the sons of God.

“But as many as received him,

to them gave he power to become the sons of God,

even to them that believe on his name.”

John 1:12

In The Beginning

Behold the bud in spring –

a flower that knows no bounds,

spun of first light, begotten of the Word,

between the black night stars,

and the frozen ground,

changeling child emerging into life,

morphing ever from the blossom then to fruit to seed,

promise of all that is to be.

We are alike, sweet blossom,

I and thee!

Unsolicited Advise

A stumbling beggar falls among the thorns;
Lies he bleeding, tangled, and forlorn.

A flitting hummingbird
suggests he stop and smell the roses –
as if this ill conceived advise
his weary plight disposes.

While on the wing a winsome bluebird,
glancing down cries sweetly,
“Sing! Sing! Sing!”
the soul in his dilemma, pained,
knows only sting, sting, sting!

He ponders how such creatures,
borne aloft in flighty fashion,
could not by now have learned
a little more compassion.

“… and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.” (Romans 12:15,16)
