So, You Think There’s No Such Thing As Evil?

This entry is off the cuff, unplanned. I don’t usually post anything directly dealing with current events. That m.o. may need to change because what we’re looking at here is pure evil and it needs to be exposed and addressed. There’s no other way to put it, no other way around it.

Oh sure, some will say, “We must not judge”, to which my reply is, “You mean to tell me you’re so seared of conscience that you cannot discern between what’s clearly right and what’s clearly wrong? I’m sure many prophets of God heard the same “half truth” (whatever that is!) as rebuttal to their addressing the wickedness which had overtaken the people of God who had on several occasions take up child sacrifice. I’m by no means equating myself with a prophet, but doesn’t Scripture direct us who claim to be “Bible believers” and disciples of Jesus Christ to, “… not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them“? (Ephesians 5:11)

Or is it that some simply want to ignore the truth because it’s too troubling?” We live in a time when the current relativism of “opinions” has gotten us into a moral and metaphysical jam, quite frankly – as in sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. In fact, what is seen in the attached video is not only disturbing; it’s absolutely criminal! Not everything that is legal (or not covered by corrupt and ungodly “laws” made by ungodly law makers) is moral. Let’s get that through our “liberal” little heads! Which drummer do you dance to – the world or Christ? That is the question! The unborn in this video did not have even the chance to answer whether “to be or not to be” is the question!

Frankly I don’t see how people live with themselves who are involved every day with what’s pictured in this video. It’s not only inhuman. It’s frankly diabolical.

How low we have sunk to allow this to go on! And you think the USA is not about to reap what is being sown here to the tune of thousands a day, ever since 1973? The blood of innocents cries out to God!

Yes, I know – everybody likes posts that are all “sweetness and light”, but that’s not always where truth is. We like to sing “How Great Thou Art” to ourselves! Get real, people.

Oh, did I forget that we’re not our brother’s keeper anymore? “It’s not my business. Just bring me my next beer or my mocha latte. I’m late for my massage followed by my pedicure… I don’t have time for this.” Nor do we defend those who have no voice to defend themselves.

This video covers conversations between Planned Parenthood employees and buyers for “research” companies, covering a discussion on how they need to agree to lie and what verbiage to use to delude the public as to what Planned Parenthood is really up to. Watch and weep.

Beware. At 8 minutes 57 seconds it gets pretty graphic! So if you are faint of heart or stomach, you’ve been forwarded. What’s more disgusting than torn up body parts is the cavalier attitude of the people laughing and going about business as usual in the “lab”.

On a follow up video with a White House Press Secretary, an atheist comments, “This is the most outrageous thing I’ve ever heard from a White House Press Secretary. I seriously can’t believe it. They’re leaving it up to the company being accused to clear themselves of wrong doing? Seriously? They didn’t watch the videos and label them extremists based again on the word of Planned Parenthood?? REALLY? I voted for Obama twice. I’m an atheist and was prochoice until I watched ALL of the video.”

Kudos to this person! He’s at least had his eyes opened and is taking a stand for what’s right, which is more than what many who claim the name of Christ are doing. Where’s your prophetic voice, church?

Life Affirming Thoughts For Days When The Clouds Roll In

God Affirms My Life

“If there were never any clouds in our lives, we would have no faith. ‘The clouds are the dust of His feet’ (Nahum 1:3). They are a sign that God is there. Through these very clouds the Spirit of God is teaching us how to walk by faith.” –Oswald Chambers, from My Utmost for His Highest.

If God sent me into this life with talents, abilities, and the vision to see them through, I must never give up, in spite of the opposition that seems to confront me, for greater is He that is within me than He that is in the world!

The thief may try to kill, steal, and destroy. Thus inspiration, illumination, and inroads into the vision may be followed by challenge or oppression. There may be dark forces which derive their sustenance from the energies of sadness, depression, frustration, disappointment, grief, anger, sorrow, jealousy or a host of other negative emotions. In Christ neither these spiritual scavengers nor the dark emotions they seek have any power whatsoever over me! These are only the clouds and shadow mountains of fear which I cast into the sea by the word of faith. For there is One Who came to give me life and that more abundantly, to give me a hope and a future, and this is the One Whose Word, Will, and Way I welcome, receive, and follow!

Gratefully, with thanks and praise, I surrender to God’s highest and best for me, as I humbly receive these understandings and insights, knowing that in Christ I am a new creation, created to live in the power and authority of His everlasting love. In His name I welcome and receive each and every blessing He intends for me – in spirit, mind, body, and circumstances – knowing that somehow through the clouds, He always brings the rain of His grace as abundance and joy, now and forever. Amen.

Thanks be to God
for lifting up my spirit this day
and for all the good
now coming my way!

Baptism Of Fire

I’ve been revisiting and revising some older and more simplistic digital art created awhile back.

This one is based on

Luke 12:49-53

Cross 5 Revised

“I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished! Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

“For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” (1Corinthians 1:18) I find that in viewing or creating spiritual Christ centered art, it always brings me into a prayerful and contemplative space where the Holy Spirit reminds me of what Jesus taught and, as it is promised, into more expanded understanding of His truth. Indeed, often a picture is worth a thousand words… or more.

Blessings to you in Christ, dear reader!

Proverbially Speaking / Chapter 22 (What’s Your “Viewpoint”?)

“He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.” (Proverbs 22:9)

A “bountiful eye”: A magnanimous, gracious outlook is about as close to the meaning as this comes. It is the consciousness of generosity and grace that perhaps shows through the eyes and on the face of such a person. The eyes tell it all! They speak of your viewpoint! Do you see bounty everywhere, or lack?

Relates to Luke 6:38, where Jesus instructs concerning the attitude of giving forth. A cross reference is given to, what is to me, one of the most “mysterious” verses in scripture, Mark 4:24, 25 – “And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.” I take this as referring to “abundance consciousness”. Seems to be the opposite of the socialist doctrine: to he that hath not, we shall take from he who hath and give to he who hath not, so that they shall be equal.

There is no getting around that the truth is related to the Law of Sowing and Reaping. Someone with a “bountiful eye” will be a giver. S/he knows it costs nothing to give, because this is a universal principle given by God that to sow generously means to reap generously.

There is nothing quite like it that will reveal this to us except when we have the revelation of Jesus Christ and ourself in Him and He in us. Then we know we are one with the Father. When that happens, one becomes aware that he no longer striving toward having (substance, money, spiritual understanding, generosity…), in a worldly way, but that he is already there and comes from that place in the LORD! He or she comes from a place of abundance and confidence. They know how things work! Then your look will be that of the bountiful eye, and the confidant countenance. You will know that you have; you will not be coming from a place of want and lack all the time.

This is why the want and lack people are always wanting and lacking, and often in physical pain, and asking for prayers from others to alleviate their dilemmas. Often their condition worsens, until they learn Whose and Where they are in God, and that to give is to receive, that they can give and it won’t hurt, for it has been said that the pain you carry is the love you withhold! Which brings up the next point:

It’s not always about just giving money or worldly goods, but also to impart knowledge, healing, truth, love and so forth. When we give in these areas, what we have only increases. We don’t give to aggrandize ourselves, or for some phony philanthropic tax advantage, but to reveal how things work.

There was a big crowd. Five thousand by some accounts. It was lunch time. The disciples said that the crowd needed to be fed. Jesus said, “Show Me what you have.” They said, “There’s someone here with five loaves of bread and two fishes, but what is that among so many?” The Master said, “YOU feed them!”… “What did He say? Me?” So they brought Him the small meal, He blessed it, and gave it to them. As they began to distribute it, low and behold, it grew and grew in amount – until everyone had more than enough to eat! And there were several baskets left over! The miracle comes when we surrender to Jesus what we have, and He multiplies it as we give it forth.

Now that’s what it means to come from abundance rather than strive toward abundance. The first is the Jesus mindset. The second is the worldly mindset. And it is that latter mindset, based the ignorance of the Universal Law of Reaping and Sowing, that has this planet in a real jam these days, as we face global financial collapse. It is separated from the consciousness of the Gospel!

We don’t have any idea who we are or Whose we are, and therefore where we dwell – having been bought by the Blood of Jesus and brought to the Father’s right hand in Him, in His ascension! That is where we already are?

Where’s the scarcity and limitation there, Mr. Socialist, so that you think you must take it upon yourself to demand wealth redistribution? That is the subtle essence of anti Christ and it is based upon ignorance of the truth of God’s endless unlimited abundance! Plain and simple. There is no lack. There is no scarcity. All are in God through Christ! God – the omnipotent, the omniscient, the omnipresent. Everywhere God is there is abundance! And there is nowhere that God is not.

The Good News of divine abundance must be proclaimed with understanding. It is for this that Jesus came into this world – to restore us to the knowledge of the Truth!

It is in giving we receive. It is in sowing that we reap, whether the goods of the physical life, or the giving of prayer and praise and unseen glories of wisdom and understanding.

Oh, that we may know Whose we are, and who we are in Him. We’re not that nowhere man in nowhere land making nowhere plans, but rather we are now here, in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, in the ever present Presence of our Heavenly Father’s love.

The Only True Freedom

Just a few quick thoughts.

I ran across this passage from Isaiah today in doing some cross-referencing on the meaning of freedom. It is such a beautiful promise and so descriptive of what Jesus has done for us, that I felt I needed to share it…

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.” (Isaiah 49:24,25.)

Certainly He has taken us away who were “prey” and “captives” of the mighty and terrible…

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” (Luke 4:18-21)

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

The only true freedom begins in our Lord Jesus Christ at the cross.

Wow! What fabulous thoughts with which to ponder real freedom on Independence Day! Thank you, Holy Spirit!
