A “New Thought” For A Sunday

Bibl Meta

Actually, it’s a rather old thought. This quotation is from Jesus, and is one of His “secrets” to an abundant life. It is very contrary to the way the world thinks, but this is Perennial Wisdom taught by every major spiritual tradition on the planet.

We may be thinking, “But why doesn’t it work?” There are a number of reasons:

1) It has not been embraced, thus it has not been tried and tested across a broader scale of Humanity. Those who practice it understand how valid it is.
2) It has not been taught very well – most often by scamming religionists who use it to line their own pockets through picking the pockets of their followers.
3) People have this metaphysical principle confused with socialism, which externally demands compliance by extorting people’s wealth and redistributing it to whomever they think it ought to be distributed.

Jesus taught a giving that is from our heart. It is a willing kind of giving, not forced.

So between the crooked politicians and the crooked preachers, this valuable Truth gets shunned or ignored by people who need to understand it, as it could be one of the most life enhancing Truths anyone could embrace.

The way of most of the world is to hold back, hoard, and take – out of fear and because people are indoctrinated in dogmas of lack and limitation.

In summary, one cannot expect a crop when he hasn’t planted any seeds. There is life and abundance in giving, in generosity, in gratitude – because it is based in the realization of how the Universe is actually designed to operate by its Creator!

Whatever we willingly give can never be taken from us. In fact the opposite is true… “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” (Luke 6:38) Biblical Metaphysics 101
